We are recognised as an ethical brand by Good On You.
Good On You is a leading source for ethical brand ratings, assessing brands for their impact on the environment, labour and animals.

We care about our planet, and the people and animals that live here. We believe that we should all do what we can to leave the world better than how we found it, and these values guide the decisions we make and the way we run our business. As a small family business, our resources and choices might be limited compared to bigger businesses, but we believe that all businesses, big and small, have a responsibility to run their business in the most ethical manner possible.
Here is our ethical approach:
🌈 As part of our commitment to sustainability, we minimise textile waste by making most of our products on demand instead of following the traditional retail model of mass-producing products that may never get sold and would ultimately just end up in landfill. Our preferred suppliers use ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX© certified ink and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX© certified material, and use packaging made from 100% recycled materials wherever possible.
🌈 We make monthly donations to Children's Ground, a wonderful organisation that works to create a better future for Aboriginal children, their families and their communities. You can learn more about this organisation here. We also donate shoes to those in need when we can, for example we donated shoes to children who arrived in our local community after escaping the war in Ukraine.
🌈 We are an LGBTIQ+ friendly business. We promote equality by not adhering to gender stereotypes with our products, and offer all of our colours and designs to everybody, regardless of gender identity. We do list sizes by "men's" and "women's" for ease of purchasing for our customers, however in reality all of our designs are unisex and are intended to be worn by anybody who likes them!
🌈 We do not sell any real leather or other animal products. All of our "leather" products are made from vegan leather. We use a high quality synthetic imitation leather known as PU leather. It has a similar look and feel to real leather, but does not use animal products and is cruelty-free.
🌈 While many of our products are made in China, we challenge the "Made In China" stigma by working with experts who produce beautifully crafted products using ethical practices. We are picky about who we source our products from, and will never work with anyone who is known to use child labour, sweatshops or other exploitative practices that are in breach of the
Labour Law of the People's Republic of China. Wherever possible, we use manufacturers who are compliant with SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), which is an international audit covering Sedex's four pillars of Labour, Health and Safety, Environment and Business Ethics.
